Searching
At night, the wind howls as
The moon pours forth her grief at
Being left cold
She whispers through the darkness
Winding around limbs
Searching for one who is Warm
Daytime creeps nearer, shines
The howling ceases
She is no longer cold
The sun burns down,
Seeking one who
Is gentle, Cool
He searches throughout the
Land, but none
Is found
At night she comes with relief
To snatch away his fears
To comfort the burning Sol
Together they make up the heavens,
Searching for the other
All their turn
They find each when
Rising to take the place
Of dominance
Passing by so close
Yet so far
They are not
Alone
